A Farm made for the Camera.

Everdale offers something different in every direction. Long views and big skies give way to working fields, gardens, forests and farm buildings, while the seasons bring their own character—from lush summer growth and brilliant fall colour to snow-covered winter landscapes.

There’s depth, texture and plenty of room to work.

Dew tower build during a three-month YouTube Originals production at Everdale Farm

From small shoots to full produtions.

Everdale has been a location for many CBC Kids shows, professional commercials, independent films, photography and online productions, including Shut It Off ASAP, a six-part YouTube Originals series from AsapSCIENCE.

Beyond the landscape, there’s room for a production to work—with on-site accommodation, a large community centre, farm buildings and plenty of space for crews and equipment. Everdale was built to welcome people, which makes it a surprisingly easy place to shoot.

Does the Farm Stuff Add up?

Agricultural Technical Advising for Film, Television & Media

We’ve worked with production teams as agricultural consultants, bringing real-world farming knowledge to the creative process. We can sit down with directors and production teams to review concepts, talk through farming practices, equipment, crops, livestock and seasonal details, and share what those things actually look like on a working farm. Sometimes getting the details right opens up better possibilities.

Whether you’re filming here at Everdale or somewhere else, we’re available for those “Is this what a farmer would actually do?” moments. We bring what we know from the field—you decide what belongs on screen.
