The Farmhouse
Six-bedroom straw bale retreat with big-sky views.

Perched on a hill overlooking the farm, the Farmhouse is made for gathering. With warm natural materials, deep windowsills, six bedrooms, two living rooms, and plenty of space to spread out, it feels both generous and cozy.

Cook together in the big kitchen, gather around the table, watch the sunset from the deck, and enjoy the luxury of having everyone together in one place.

Forest Cabin
Cozy off-grid retreat for two.

Tucked beside the forest, this handcrafted strawbale cabin is made for two. Thick straw walls, deep windowsills, a cozy wood stove, covered porch, outdoor kitchenette, and private fire pit give it warmth, character, and plenty of quiet.

Wake to birdsong, relax by the fire, and end the day beneath a sky full of stars.

Simple Joys of Farm Living.

Experience the farm at your own pace. Wander the gardens, visit the sheep, watch the clouds move across the hills, or simply notice how many shades of green there are in a field. In fall, walk through changing leaves; in winter, bring your snowshoes or cross-country skis and head out across the farm.

There’s beauty here, found in the grit and rhythm of a working farm—a place shaped by seasons, weather, soil and years of working with the land.

Each space is thoughtfully stocked with books, cookbooks, games, puzzles and resources on farming, ecology, local history and stewardship. Browse a field guide, discover an old tractor manual, unfold a soil map, or curl up with a good book. There’s plenty to explore, and room to simply be.

  • "We had the most relaxing, peaceful stay. The house is large, very comfortable, and well stocked, the view overlooking the farm and the rolling hills is beautiful. We brought our snowshoes and spent many hours in the forest and fields. Gavin, Della and Tess were friendly, accommodating and so very kind. We enjoyed learning about the lambs and visited the barn multiple times a day to check in on them and to see if there were any new arrivals. I highly recommend a visit. You won't be disappointed".

  • "This was my third stay at the forest cabin and it was wonderful! I enjoyed tending the wood stove, reading in the cozy warmth, drawing by the windows, and walking the forest trails. The outdoor kitchen is so well set up making it easy to make coffee and cook meals. I was fortunate to witness the setting of the Beaver super moon over the field during sunrise. The cabin is a great place to relax and unwind, to think creatively, to write, and/or contemplate a new direction or project. I'm grateful for the times I have spent there, very calming and enriching"

  • "This is a super little place. If you're looking for privacy, peace, tranquility and a friendly feel you've found the right place. Our hosts were excellent. They made us feel so welcome and the straw cabin was set up perfectly for our intended unplugged stay. The kitchen is well-stocked, the bed was really comfortable and there are plenty of books and a few games, if you forget your own".

  • "My family stayed in the farm house along side my brother’s family and it was the perfect spot to stay for the weekend and do some hiking on the nearby Bruce trail. The kitchen is huge and well stocked with lots of space for kids to run around and plenty of sleeping space for all. The kids also loved feeding the sheep vegetable scraps which Gavin encouraged, and we were even given some fresh produce from the farm and honey that was made locally. What a wonderful find, thank you so much!"
